Man Who Injured Cop at Carnival Arrested on Warrant
Martel Aguilar, 20, of the 900 block of South La Grange Road in La Grange, was taken into custody at the intersection of Tilden and Lincoln Friday afternoon, police said.
The man who police said injured an officer at the La Grange Carnival was arrested on a warrant Friday afternoon after he failed to appear in court in connection with the May 31 incident.
Martel Aguilar, 20, of the 900 block of South La Grange Road in La Grange, was taken into custody at the intersection of Tilden and Lincoln around 4:30 p.m., police said.
He was charged with criminal trespass in May after refusing to leave the carnival when several women told police he was harassing them. Aguilar injured an officer when he tried to flee from the scene, police said.

When officers apprehended Aguilar Friday, he was also charged with resisting arrest.
Aguilar was in Cook County Jail as of Tuesday evening on $5,000 bond.
