Nazareth Academy Announces Free Christmas Concert

The concert will take place Dec. 13, and is open to all ages.

It’s Christmas concert season, and we’ve got another one for you: the Nazareth Academy Fine Arts Department will be holding a concert Tuesday, Dec. 13 at 7 p.m., and everyone is invited.

The concert, which is free, will showcase the “talents of student musicians and singers,” the school announced in a press release. Nazareth’s Concert and Progressions choirs, the Symphonic Band, the Jazz Ensemble and the Percussion Ensemble will all perform.

All five ensembles will come together to for a final performance, the Midwest and high school premiere of Dr. Thomas Bough’s newest composition, Poorest of the Poor: Music for Mother Theresa. The music was written in honor of the canonization of Mother Theresa in September.
