Dog Bite

A dog bit a woman in the 100 block of South Ashland Avenue around 7:21 p.m., police said.

Pet Parade Fight

A verbal argument took place near the intersection of La Grange and Harris around 11:13 a.m., police said. The fight was broken up without incident.

House Egged on Stone

A house in the 1100 block of Stone Avenue was egged sometime between 10:30 p.m. and 11:45 a.m., police said. It is not clear whether the eggs caused permanent damage.

Stolen Bike

A red Schwinn mountain bike with 24-inch wheels was taken from a driveway in the 1100 block of Arlington, police said.

Another Dog Bite

A dog bit a man near the intersection of 6th and Elm around 12:16 p.m., police said.

Public Urination

A homeless man urinated behind a building in the 0-99 block of West Hillgrove, police said. He was sent on his way.

Train Station Fight

Margaret Heydorn, 47, of the 4600 block of DuBois Avenue in Brookfield, and Joseph Stasiulis, 48, homeless, were cited with fighting at the La Grange Road Train Station around 12:24 a.m., police said.

Flag Pole Tampering

Kamil Halon, 23, of the 7600 block of South Cork Avenue in Justice, and Roberto U. Napoles, 23, of the 6000 block of South 75th Street in Summit, were issued no trespassing notices for tampering with the flag pole in front of Village Hall, police said. The flag was on the ground but appeared to be unharmed, police said. Both men were drunk, so police sent them home in a cab, according to the report.

House Egged at 47th and Ashland

Three teens in a soft-top gold/beige Cadillac egged a home near the intersection of 47th and Ashland around 5 p.m., police said.

Five Homeless People Screaming

Five homeless people were screaming at each other from across the tracks in the 0-99 block of West Burlington Avenue around 6:24 p.m., police said. The people were sent on their way.

Man Makes Threats, Throws Things at Cars

A man was throwing things at cars and threatened to shoot a man in the 0-99 block of North La Grange Road around 8:29 p.m., police said. Officers located the man and released him without charges.

Insult to Injury

People in two cars egged another car near the intersection of 51st Street and Ashland around 8:40 p.m., police said. A person in one of the cars gave the resident who called police the finger and swore at her before the car drove off.

Kids were setting off fireworks around 10:23 p.m. near the intersection of Cossitt and Ashland, police said. The kids were warned and sent on their way.
