Friday, 1/8: Cruise to Turkey, Dole Hall 3 p.m. Our cruise around the world destination this month is Turkey. Residents are invited to enjoy a travelogue and
share stories and memorabilia. New 2016 passports will be handed out. Enjoy a sweet treat from this country.
Sunday, 1/10: Musician Greg Herriges: Tribute to Turkish Music, Dole Hall 2:30 p.m.
Greg Herriges creates an eclectic mix of original and traditional “whirled music” on bouzouki, guitar, and other world instruments, with a unique approach honed by his studies of Turkish, Greek, Asian, and other international styles. A virtuoso performer and award-winning composer, his music and writing have found international recognition. He is also a soundtrack artist and author of instructional books on world music

Norman Livingston Kerr, MSW, VP UCAN Chicago; Director Peace Hub Chicago UCAN and Peace Hub are faith-based organizations that work with youth aged 12-24 to reduce exposure to and/or participation in violence. They help heal traumatized youth, strengthen communities and build future leaders.
