Vehicles Entered, Nothing Taken
La Grange Park police received multiple reports on the 1500 block of Newberry Avenue of vehicles being entered and looked through. No items were reported missing.
Car Stolen Overnight
A car was stolen on the 1500 block of Newberry Avenue between 4:15 p.m. and 4:45 p.m. The vehicle had been left unlocked with the keys in the ignition in the victim's driveway.

Burglary to Two Cars
Police received two reports of burglary, one on the 1500 block of Blanchen Avenue and the second on the 600 block of Harding Avenue. Various items and credit cards were taken from the unlocked vehicles overnight.

Youths Break Lights
At about 11:40 p.m., a group of young males was seen breaking Malibu lights in the parking lot of an apartment building on the 400 block of Beach Avenue. The young men were chased off by a neighbor. Damage was estimated to be under $50.
Bike Stolen
A Diamondback bicycle was stolen from a resident's home on the 600 block of Harding in the early morning hours. The bike was registered with police and is now listed in the state database for lost, missing or stolen items. The value of the bike was listed at under $500.
THURSDAY, July 26
Speeding and Driving With Suspended License
Timothy R. Bargas, 22, of 4100 block of Prescott Avenue in Lyons, was arrested for driving while his license is suspended at 3:22 p.m. An officer traveling northbound on Maple Avenue observed a blue minivan traveling at 46 mph in a 30-mph zone. Barges told the officer his license has been supended, and he was driving a friend's car. Bargas was issued two citations: for speeding and for driving with a suspended license.
