Sen. Nybo seeking volunteer interns for spring semester

State Sen. Chris Nybo of Elmhurst is seeking volunteer interns ages 18 and older to work with his legislative office for spring semester.

LOMBARD – State Sen. Chris Nybo (R-Elmhurst) is currently seeking volunteer interns ages 18 and older to work with his legislative office for the spring semester.

“My Legislative Internship Program provides a unique opportunity for community-minded young people to learn more about state government, current issues, legislation and constituent contact,” said Sen. Nybo. “With new leadership in Springfield, it is an exciting time to be part of state government.”

Sen. Nybo’s internship program will be offered from February through May, and provides hands-on experience in community relations and communications, monitoring local issues, along with research projects.

Applicants are asked to provide a resume by email to chris@chrisnybo.org by Feb. 10.

Sen. Nybo’s district staff will work with students in need of education and community service credits. Internships are flexible in terms of hours and length of commitment for students who may have other obligations.
