SERCO Hosts Mega Manufacturing, Construction, Logistics Job Fair

NORTH RIVERSIDE, IL -- The Southwest Suburban Cook County American Job Center will host a mega construction, manufacturing and logistics job fair this Thursday, March 7, in North Riverside. Representatives from the manufacturing, construction and logistics industries will be on hand to discuss current and future career opportunities at their companies. The job fair from 10 a.m. to noon, at SERCO's job center located at 7222 W. Cermak Road, North Riverside. Parking is free.

Job seekers will be able to talk to recruiters and interview on the spot, who are hiring machine operators, maintenance mechanics, food production, maintenance mechanics, shipping/receiving, quality assurance, sanitation, assembly, welders, forklift operators, material handlers, warehouse, carpenters, electricians and CDL class A drivers.

Companies are looking for the following candidate qualifications:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends. Flexibility is a plus.
• Minimum 6-months' work experience in construction, manufacturing or logistics (warehouse) is a big plus
• Candidates with industry credentials and training in plus
