Several Thefts From Vehicles Reported in North La Grange Park, 2 Suspects Arrested: Police
In all cases of theft, car doors were left unlocked.
There were several incidents of theft from automobiles early Sunday morning, the La Grange Police Department reported today.
The burglaries took place around 2 a.m. Sunday and were centered around the northern parts of La Grange Park and neighboring towns Brookfield and Broadview. The La Grange Park thefts took place in the 1200 block of Woodside and Meadowcrest.
The police said they believe the burglaries were a coordinated effort and arrested two suspects — one a juvenile and one 23-years old — for Criminal Trespass to Motor Vehicle and for stealing a car that had been left in the area, unlocked and with keys in it.
