The La Grange Business Association and Shaw Media Media are hosting a power breakfast with local business leaders called "60 Ideas in 60 Minutes" on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at Via Bella Banquets, 5412 S. La Grange Road in Countryside.
This business strategy breakfast is designed to give attendees a wide range of collective knowledge from a panel of six prominent executives and entrepreneurs with backgrounds ranging from fintech to tourism, sports to entertainment and more. Each panelists will share ten tips they've learned for business success that can be applied to any size business.
Breakfast attendees will take away information, insights and a glossy publication containing all 60 ideas to help them improve their businesses.

Each speaker will get five minutes to share key ideas and philosophies that they believe have helped their businesses succeed, followed by Q and A from the audience. Featured will be:
- Michael Delfini, the President and CEO of Kohl Children's Museum of Greater Chicago. Mike is a 30-year museum executive whose career also include the Black Ensemble Theatre and the Shedd Aquarium.
- Marilynn Kelly Gardner, the President and CEO of Navy Pier, the largest tourism destination in Illinois.
- Kerri Klun, Co-Founder and VP of Client Delivery at Red Foundry, a mobile app and web development company
- John Paquet, Executive Producer at Intersport, a media and marketing firm with services that span digital, sponsorship, experiential and hospitality.
- Dan Romanelli, Chief Strategy Officer at USAM Group, a New York-based company that engages with fintech vendors.
- Mark Starsiak, VP of Sports Properties at Intersport. Mark oversees the company's properties division of events and tournaments ranging from basketball to football to esports and trade competitions.
- Rita Haake, the panel moderator, is Center Manager/Program Manager for the College of DuPage Business Development Center.
"This breakfast is a great way to help community businesses set their course for the new year," said Nancy Cummings, Executive Director of the La Grange Business Association. "We've selected these panelists not only because of their exceptional backgrounds but also because they can relate to local businesses. Several of them are residents here," she said.

60 Ideas in 60 Minutes is sponsored by FNBC Bank & Trust in La Grange. "We're happy to support an event that generates ideas and helps local businesses broaden their horizons, " said Joseph Kroc, senior vice president at FNBC Bank & Trust and president of the business association.
Check-in, networking and breakfast buffet begins at 8:00am. The program is held from 8:30am - 9:45am. The cost is $30 per person for LGBA members or $35 for non-members before January 8; $35 per person for LGBA members and $40 per person for non-members after January 8.
