Two Reports of Suspicious Persons Near Ogden School Cleared
Police say that both incidents where a suspicious person was reported near Ogden Avenue and St. Francis schools in La Grange have been cleared, but they thanks residents for reporting them.

A recently issued statement from the that alerted residents that two reports had been received in the last seven days of a suspicious person trying to make contact with children near and schools has been cleared.
Holub said the department released the alert so that parents and concerned community members would be aware that the reports had been made and that the department was looking into them.
Following their investigation, Holub said both cases have been cleared as unfounded—but that's not to say they were not worth reporting.

Holub was quick to say that he'd rather residents report suspicious cases a hundred times and have them be cleared, than have a serious incident go unreported.
"We'd always rather have you call," Holub said.
