LaGrange Park Veterans Memorial needs to become a reality!
A long awaited and much anticipated endeavor to honor those who served in the military is underway in LaGrange Park- and gathering momentum. The endeavor is to honor the military veterans of LaGrange Park, the veterans of our families and the memories of our service “buddies”.  The endeavor I write about is the Veterans’ Memorial project. This project is the vision of Lagrange Park resident Ray Wielgos and supported by the Community Park District of LaGrange Park.

Approximately 30 young people die every week from a sudden cardiac death, and roughly one-third of these deaths may have been prevented through a simple ECG. The Young Hearts for Life program will be screening LTHS students for free in November.
