14 New Cottages Coming to Lake Forest Place

Construction begins this summer on 14 duplex-style cottages at Lake Forest Place with residences ready for occupancy in the summer of 2016.

”Demand for cottage-style residences at Lake Forest Place has really increased, so it seemed like the right time to go forward with new construction,” said Bob Werdan, vice president of marketing and public relations at Presbyterian Homes, which owns and operates Lake Forest Place. “The cottages appeal to active retirees who still like the feel of their own home but are ready to give up having to maintain it.”

The new cottages will be located on Chalmers Court and are surrounded by ponds, wetlands and mature trees. Floor plans range from 2,100-2,400 square feet tand offer two bedrooms plus den and a larger floor plan, which includes a sunroom.

Each has a fireplace, private patio, two-car garage, dining room and eat-in kitchen. A full lower level can be customized to add a home office, guest rooms or TV and activity room for grandchildren.
