The relationship between Ginerva and Fitzgerald King reportedly fizzled after King told his daughter’s beau, "Poor boys shouldn't think of marrying rich girls," according to an article on the Huffington Post. Fitzgerald went on to write about the wealthy in his novels. The Great Gatsby may have been inspired by Ginevra, the Huffington Post reports.

Her father’s one-time 7,424-square-foot home, which sits on a 45-acre lot, is on the market for $16.5 million.
