2017 BMW Championship Tee Times, 1st & 2nd Round Groupings

LAKE FOREST, IL — Lake Forest is hosting the penultimate event of the PGA Tour's Playoffs for the FedEx Cup this week, the 2017 BMW Championship, from Sept. 12-17. Originally founded in 1899 as the Western Open, it's the second oldest golf tournament in the country after the U.S. Open.

Tee times and groupings were released Monday for the first two rounds of the tournament, which is conducted by the Western Golf Association at Conway Farms in Lake Forest for the benefit of the Evans Scholars Foundation. Favorite Jordan Spieth will be joined by Justin Thomas and Dustin Johnson at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday and 12:50 p.m. on Friday.

Spectator Parking and Transportation

The best and easiest parking option for Lake Forest residents is to park at either the East Side Train Station or the Telegraph Road Train Station and take the complimentary shuttle to the Tournament.

General admission parking for the BMW Championship will again be complimentary for all spectators.

Spectators will park at Six Flags Great America, 1 Great America Parkway, Gurnee, IL and use the north entrance to the park on Grand Avenue (IL 132). Complimentary shuttle service will be provided to and from Conway Farms.

Complimentary shuttle service also will be provided to and from the Championship from the twon Metra stations in Lake Forest. As an added benefit to spectators, Metra has expanded its service on both the Milwaukee District North and Union Pacific North lines during the BMW Chamipionship.

A designated drop-off/pick-up area will be located at the Telegraph Road Train Station, 911 Telegraph Road, Lake Forest. From the drop-off/pick-up location, spectators will be shuttled to the Championship entrance less than half a mile away. Patrons traveling by bicycle or on foot dcan enter the Conway Farms community at the corner of Everett Road and Conway Farms Drive, and proceed north on the sidewalk to 425 Conway Farms Drive, Lake Forest.

Street parking in the neighborhoods surrounding Conway Farms is strictly prohibited without a proper permit.
