4th Of July 2021 Fireworks In Lake Forest

LAKE FOREST, IL — Coronavirus cases continue to drop across the country while the number of those who are fully vaccinated continues to rise, which means there is even more reason to celebrate this Independence Day. July 4 is almost here, so it's time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you.

While several north suburban communities have postponed their 2021 firework plans or canceled them altogether, Lake Forest's annual festival and fireworks display is set to return to Deerpath Community Park.

Gates open at 400 N. Hastings Road at 5 p.m., with fireworks and patriotic music scheduled to begin around 9:40 p.m. The scheduled music lineup includes cover bands Hello Weekend and Sixteen Candles. Tickets start at $20 for residents and $30 for non-residents. Admission is free for children under 5.

In Lake Bluff, the 111th annual Independence Day parade will have its route extended to 3.5 miles on the east side of the village. Themed "It Takes a Village," the vehicle parade is scheduled to begin at Lake Bluff Middle School at 10 a.m. and wrap up at the same location around 11:15 a.m.
