8 David Adler Homes on Market at Once in Lake Forest-Lake Bluff

Architect David Adler, loved for his expansive, European-style homes in the early 20th century, built 43 houses around Chicago. Eight of those — all in Lake Forest and Lake Bluff — were recently on the market at the same time, according to an article in Chicago Magazine, which is the most listed at once in the past decade.

The rebounding North Shore housing market means Adler owners are comfortable listing the homes, the article says. One even sold after the article went to press, and two are listed as contingent. So if you want to buy an Adler, it looks like you’ll need to act fast.
