LAKE FOREST, IL — Last week, we asked Lake Forest-Lake Bluff Patch readers to share their recommendations for the best burger joint in the area.
The results are in, and one spot emerged as the clear favorite among the dozens of respondents to our unscientific survey.
The Peanut Gallery, located in the Westwood Center at 950 N. Western Ave., had the support of nearly 30 percent of residents.

The co-owners of The Gallery —Lake Forest native Cecilia Lanyon and 2009 Best Chef: Midwest James Beard Award nominee Dominic Zumpano — opened the fast-casual burger joint in December 2019 to offer a relaxed diner feel and family-focused atmosphere.
What makes it the best?
