Biker Dead After Crashing Into Semi At Lake Forest Oasis: Police
A 78-year-old motorcyclist veered onto the shoulder and hit the back of a tractor trailer Wednesday afternoon on I-94, state police said.

LAKE FOREST, IL — A motorcycle rider died after crashing into a tractor trailer on Interstate 94 Wednesday, police said.
Shortly after 1 p.m. , the driver of a 2007 Honda motorcycle veered onto the right shoulder of the ramp to the Lake Forest Oasis, striking the rear end of a 2019 Freightliner semi-trailer parked on the shoulder at the time, according to Illinois State Police.
A 78-year-old Milford, Utah man was critically injured in the crash and pronounced dead at the scene, state police said. The man's identity has not been released by the Lake County Coroner's Office.

The ramp to the Lake Forest Oasis was closed around 1:15 p.m. and remained closed as of 5:30 p.m. for the investigation, according to state police.
No charges or citations have been issued in connection with the fatal crash.
