Boston Marathon 2018: Lake Forest, Lake Bluff Runners Results

See who braved the cold, wet and windy 122nd edition of the Boston Marathon Monday.

Seven Lake Forest and Lake Bluff residents braved brutal conditions to complete Monday's wet and windy Boston Marathon. The fastest local finisher was 52-year-old Mark Shannahan, who finished 2,538 overall out of nearly 26,000 runners who completed the race, according to unofficial results. Kimberly Monk was the fastest local woman, finishing 1,369th among more than 5,700 women in the 18-39 year division. Not all who registered managed to complete the grueling slog of the 122nd running of the Boston Marathon, and a big congratulations is in order to all who crossed the finish line:

  • Mark Shannahan, 52 — 3:04:57 (2,538 overall)
  • Andre Bennatan, 59 — 3:26:38 (136th in age division)
  • Kimberly Monk, 38 — 3:28:02 (1,617th among women)
  • Zac Zarling, 41 — 3:35:40
  • John Shaul, 52 — 3:41:57
  • Megan Mcintyre, 40 — 3:45:37
  • Carol Lundahl, 57 — 4:42:38
