Devin Hester Takes Loss on Riverwoods Home Sale

Devin Hester is no longer a Bear and he’s no longer a Riverwoods homeowner, either.

Hester’s home sale closed this week, according to Crain’s Chicago Business. He sold his 10,000-square-foot Riverwoods home, complete with a waterfall, basement pub and backyard playground for $1.8 million, down from the $2.2 million he paid for it in 2008.

The area may have lost one professional athlete homeowner, but it still boasts the most NBA homeowners in the state, according to a recent article by USA Today.
