Drop Your Used Children's Books at Gorton Community Center

Gorton Community Center's Drop-In and the Friends of Lake Forest Library have partnered to provide a place where gently used children's books can be purchased for re-use and continued enjoyment by more children.

Gorton Community Center’s Drop-In and the Friends of Lake Forest Library have partnered to provide a place where gently used children’s books can be purchased for re-use and continued enjoyment by more children.

“The Children’s Bookshelf” is housed in the lobby of the Drop-In and stocked with books by the Friends of the Lake Forest Library.  Proceeds from books sold benefit both the invaluable services provided by Gorton’s Drop-In and all the wonderful programs funded by Friends of the Lake Forest Library.

Please stop by to browse for some children’s books any time Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at 400 E. Illinois Rd., Lake Forest.  You never know what treasure you will find!
