Final Week for Program Bringing Some Animals to Lake Forest Parks

Program run by Wildlife Discovery Center at Elawa Farm.

A program that began this summer has brought a number of animals to Lake Forest parks six times a week.

Among the animals brought to the various parks by the Wildlife Discovery Center at Elawa Farm are turtles, tortoises, lizards, snakes, alligators, crocodiles, amphibians, hawks and owls - according to the Lake Forester.

This is the last week for the program. Here’s your last chance to see the animals this summer.

10 to 11:30 a.m. at Lake Forest Beach
