Former Home of Steve Kerr Sells in Lake Forest

The Colonial-style home was doused with 'TP' each time Kerr won a championship with the Chicago Bulls.

LAKE FOREST, IL - A house that has been sold nearly as many times as its former owner has won an NBA title switched hands yet again last month.

The five-bedroom, 4,284-square-foot home in Lake Forest that was owned by former Chicago Bulls guard and current Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr was unloaded on Dec. 16 for $1.1125 million, according to a Chicago Tribune Elite Street report.

Kerr bought the house in 1996 for $625,000 and sold it three years later for $760,000. It was known locally for neighbors “TP-ing” it all three times Kerr won an NBA title with the Bulls and the time he won it with the San Antonio Spurs in 1999.

The house - which has 3½ baths, a foyer with two coat closets, a first-floor mudroom with built-ins and cubbyholes - has had several owners since Kerr.

Kerr won another NBA title as a player with the Spurs in 2003 and was the triumphant head coach of the Warriors when they won it all in 2015.
