Free Chicago Bears Training Camp Tickets Available For Fans

LAKE FOREST, IL — Fans will have the opportunity to attend Chicago Bears training camp this summer at Halas Hall, team officials announced Wednesday.

About 1,000 tickets will be available for each of 14 open practices between July 29 and Aug. 25. Registration opens Thursday for a drawing for up to four tickets per day. Registration closes at noon on July 15, and winners will be notified by July 19.

Last January, Bears officials announced the team would relocate its camp from Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, where it had trained since 2002, and instead train at its Lake Forest facility for the first time since 1983.

However, the emergence of the coronavirus in Illinois prevented fans from attending in person. This year, the NFL's COVID-19 protocols restrict players' interaction with the public and forbids fan autographs.

Fans who attend training camp this summer are forbidden from parking at Halas Hall, but free parking and shuttle service for ticketed attendees will be available in the southeast lot at Hawthorn Mall, 122 Hawthorn Center in Vernon Hills.

"The Training Camp experience will be different this year in some important ways," according to the team's website. "It will be a more intimate experience with fewer fans in attendance each day because Halas Hall has more limited capacity."
