Freedom Home Care Provides FREE On-Site COVID-19 Vaccinations

HIGHLAND PARK, IL (FEBRUARY 2021) – Freedom Home Care, one of the leading and most respected home care and medical staffing agencies in the North Shore and throughout the Chicago area, is proud to announce it is offering FREE COVID-19 vaccinations to any employee or client that would like the vaccine. Freedom Home Care was able to secure enough to allow for local seniors, teachers, and city employees who meet the IDPH defined criteria for 1a. and 1b. individuals. Only confirmed recipients will receive their Pfizer COVID vaccination.

Freedom Home Care has been proactive and forward thinking from the first signaling of the growing virus by obtaining full PPE as early as March of 2020. Freedom Home Care is committed to helping in the best way possible to prevent the spread of COVID through the education of its employees and clients and offering full PPE to ensure the safest care possible for all parties. Vaccinations are a big part of the arsenal available to staff and clients, however, Freedom’s focus remains on education, proper handwashing, regular testing, and access to and education on proper PPE usage. Freedom has been hosting FREE PCR COVID testing weekly at their Highland Park office location and will continue to do so. “Freedom is uniquely positioned as a home nursing agency so our nurses are also able to go directly to our clients to provide on-site and safe at-home testing,” says Kristie Faller, RN and Clinical Services Director at Freedom Home Care.

Freedom’s Holistic Approach at COVID-19 prevention is focused on:

• Offering full PPE to staff and clients: including masks, N95 and surgical, face shields, gloves, antibacterial, etc. Requirement that they wear a mask.
• Ensuring staff are educated on all prevention protocols
• Weekly PCR COVID testing
• Vaccine Clinics
