Hawthorn Hosts Halloween Activities
Children's events are scheduled for Oct. 26 and Oct. 31.
Local families are invited to get a jump start on Halloween Saturday at Westfield Hawthorn shopping center in Vernon Hills.
The mall will hold its third annual Spooktacular event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 26. The free event, which will be held in the Macy’s court, will include a dance party, crafts, a candy scavenger hunt and a costume contest. Children ages 6 and under are also invited to trick-or-treat throughout the center from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 31.
