High-End Home Sales Rise on North Shore
Crain's report shows increase in home sales of more than $2 million in Glencoe, Lake Forest and Winnetka.

According to a Crain’s Chicago Business report, high-end home sales in three of the North Shore’s wealthiest communities were on the rise in 2014.
Home sales of $2 million or more rose 69 percent last year in Winnetka, 56 percent in Glencoe and 21 percent in Lake Forest, according to Crain’s research on Redfin.com.
Sales that met that criteria went from 16 to 25 in Glencoe, 38 to 46 in Lake Forest and 58 to 98 in Winnetka.

Crain’s compared the three to Hinsdale, another wealthy Chicago suburb southwest of the city which saw a decrease from from 66 to 42.
