Highland Park Boy Stars in Reality TV Cooking Show

Highland Park’s Levi Eirinberg, 13, loves to cook. And next week he’ll be starring in a national reality TV show pitting him against other aspiring child chefs, according to an article on CBS Chicago.

Levi is one of 16 young contestants on the upcoming season of MasterChef Junior, which starts on Fox Nov. 4. He says his favorite meal to cook is a New York strip steak with red wine reduction and crispy Dijon-glazed brussel sprouts. The hardest item for him to make are eclairs.

The show was taped when Levi was 12, and he’s been cooking since he was 8, the CBS article says. He now does most of the cooking for his family.
