Hit-And-Run Pickup Truck Kills Man In Lake Forest: Police
Police said the driver of a white Ford F150 drove away after fatally striking a pedestrian in his 60s.

LAKE FOREST, IL — Police asked the public for help finding the driver of a pickup truck that struck and killed a pedestrian in Lake Forest Thursday morning.
Just after 10:45 a.m., a white Ford F150 hit a man in his 60s in the 500 block of North Mayflower Road, police said.
The force of the impact broke off the truck's passenger side mirror before the driver fled south on Mayflower Road, according to police.

Lake Forest police released images from a residential surveillance camera as well as photos from the site of the collision. They show a two-door pickup with a covered cargo bed and a broken mirror lying at the side of the road.

The identity of the victim had not been released by the Lake County Coroner's Office Thursday afternoon.
