Head of housekeeping service spent seven years trying to unload the Lake Forest property.

The head of a North Shore-based housekeeping service and his wife finally unloaded their 15-room Lake Forest mansion. It took seven years and sold for $3.3 million, about one-third of the asking price when the home first listed, according to Crain’s Chicago.
Mark Kulas, head of Kulas Maids in Northbrook and wife Yoanna Kulas spent the majority of time they owned the 2.5-acre home with a saltwater swimming pool, theater and wine cellar trying to sell it. They purchased the five bed, seven bath property in 2004, and began listing it in 2008.
