Italianate David Adler Mansion with 5-Story Tower for Sale

A unique David Adler-designed mansion with a five-story observation tower is for sale in Lake Forest for $2.495 million.

The 6,700-square-foot home was originally auxiliary space for the main house nearby, and was comprised of garages, servants’ quarters, a dog trot and greenhouse and shed, according to an article in Chicago Magazine.

The five-bedroom home was built in 1928, according to its listing on Zillow.
