Lake Bluff Obituary: Donna M. Williams, 68, of Gurnee
A memorial service for the longtime children's librarian at the Lake Bluff Public Library is scheduled for Sunday in Grayslake.
Donna M. Williams, 68, of Gurnee, IL, passed away on December 31st, 2020.
She was born in Chicago on June 27, 1952. Donna received her Master’s degree in Library Science from Dominican University.
Donna joyfully dedicated over 25 years of her life to the Lake Bluff Public Library as children’s librarian before retiring in 2019. She leaves behind a legacy of reading appreciation in the children of Lake Bluff.

She is survived by her human daughter, Kathleen and her feline daughter Moxie, who now live together, as well as her Lake Bluff Library family.
A small memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday, June 27, at Byron Colby Barn, 1561 Jones Point Road, Grayslake.
