Lake Forest Dance Team Places 2nd In Nation For Pom
Congratulations are in order for the Lake Forest High School Varsity Dance Team.

Over the weekend of January 31 through February 2, the team traveled to Orlando, Florida to compete in the National Dance Team Competition hosted by Universal Dance Association which will be televised this spring on ESPN.
This past summer, dance teams across the country competed in regional summer camps to earn the right to compete for the national title. Fifty teams from across the country competed in the Medium Pom and Medium Jazz categories in Florida.

Lake Forest High School Varsity Dance Team was thrilled to win second place in the Medium Pom Division!

Their Pom routine was choreographed by T.J. Maple from Nacogdoches, Texas.

They also came in 9th in the highly competitive Medium Jazz Division! “Tiny Dancer” was choreographed by Faymie Link (Phoenix, AZ) and Megan O’Malley (Austin, TX).
