Lake Forest Fitness Center Voted Best Workout Facility in Town

When Lake Forest-area residents want a good workout, they know where to get the job done.

Lake Forest-Lake Bluff Patch fans voted the Lake Forest Fitness Center — with a special shout-out to trainer Joey Risi — as the best place to workout in town.

The facility/trainer duo collected 45 percent of the 689 votes cast between Jan. 19-26.

Lake Forest Fitness Center is part of the Lake Forest Parks and Recreation Department. Risi, who runs Risi Training Co., is among the certified personal trainers on staff at the center.

The other nominees, Lake Bluff Fitness Center, The Dailey Method and Step Into Change, placed second, third and fourth, respectively.
