Lake Forest, Lake Bluff Businesses Help Grads Celebrate In Place

LAKE FOREST-LAKE BLUFF, IL — Local business owners hope those shopping for graduation gifts for the class of 2020 consider retailers in Lake Forest and Lake Bluff.

Businesses in town are offering a variety of gift ideas to help local graduates celebrate their accomplishments, including floral arrangements, jewelry, college gear and personalized items, according to the Lake Forest/Lake Bluff Chamber of Commerce.

"Our hearts go out to all students who won't have traditional graduation ceremonies and celebrations this spring," Joanna Rolek, executive director, said in a statement. "We know friends and family will want to do all they can to congratulate grads at this time, and our local businesses are ready to help."

Many local businesses have begun offering expanded online shopping and phone ordering options, visits to stores by appointment only and contactless pickup and delivery, according to the chamber.
