Lake Forest Man Arrested After Teens Caught Drinking at His Home

July 9: Officers responded to a complaint of a loud party with teens drinking outside near Sheridan School. Officers located a party with numerous teens drinking alcohol in the rear of a home that backs up to the school. The music was stopped and five teens from Lake Forest and Lake Bluff were cited for possession of alcohol. The homeowner, Michael O. Lincoln, 53, was cited for violation of the City’s social hosting ordinance.

Domestic battery

July 9: Police responded to a report of a domestic dispute in a parking lot at Lake Forest Academy. Officers there located and spoke with Kai Wang, 45, of Lake Forest, as well as a witness, and the female victim, who had visible injuries to her face and neck. Officers recovered a necklace that appeared to have been torn off of the victim. Wang admitted to pulling the necklace off of the victim during an argument.He was taken into custody, charged with domestic battery and held overnight.On 7/10/13 he was transported to Lake County Jail for a bond hearing and later released on bond with a July court date.

Driving under the influence of alcohol

July 7: An officer located a vehicle driven by Reid traveling northbound on Waukegan Road. She observed the car swerve over the lane markings several times. She stopped the vehicle and spoke with Juwon E. Reid, 31, of Lake Bluff, who admitted drinking and exhibited an odor of alcohol. He failed three field sobriety tests, was taken into custody and later produced a breath sample indicating a blood alcohol content of .103. Reid was processed and released with an August court date.

Criminal damage to property

On 7/15/13, Officers took Tyler A. Ditomasso, 22, of Lake Forest, into custody on two arrest warrants for felony criminal damage to property stemming from separate incidents. The first incident occurred on the evening 6/24/13 at a restaurant in the 700North block ofWestern Avenue, when witnesses advised Ditomasso threw a glass at a window, then fled on foot. The second incident occurred on 7/4/13 when Ditomasso was being transported inside a Lake Forest Fire Department ambulance. According to paramedics, Ditomasso was intoxicated and became upset at a message on his phone and threw it through the rear window of the ambulance. Ditomasso was processed and transported to Lake County Jail for a bond hearing.He was released on bond with a July court date.
