Lake Forest Resident Donates Millions to GOP
Richard Uihlein has donated nearly $6 million to various political candidates and causes, according to Crain's Chicago Business.
A Lake Forest businessman is the largest GOP donor in the U.S., according to Crain’s Chicago Business.
Crains reports that Richard Uihlein has donated almost $4 million to Tea Party candidates and nearly $1.8 million to “the most conservative candidates and causes in Illinois.”
Uihlein, 68, is the owner of Uline Inc., which he started with his wife in 1980, according to Crain’s.
