Driving While License Suspended
Kristina R. Tinsman, 41, of 1350 South White Oak Drive, Waukegan, was charged Jan. 11 at 10:45 p.m. at Route 60 and Waukegan Road with driving with a suspended license after an officer located her vehicle after it slid off of the road due to slippery road conditions. She was released on $1,500 bond pending a March 15 court date.

DUI
Dwane M. Dunn, 46, of 225 Front Drive, New Matamoras, Ohio, was charged Jan. 11 at 4:47 a.m. at Route 41 at Deerpath with driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane usage after police responded to a hit and run crash on Route 41 in Highland Park. Lake Forest officers located and stopped the offending vehicle, driven by Dunn, who admitted to drinking and failed field sobriety testing. He was taken into custody and later produced a breath sample indicating a blood alcohol content of .137. Dunn was also cited by Highland Park Police for leaving the scene of the original crash. He was processed and released $3,000 bond with a Feb. 26 court date.

Monique L. Wright, 27, of 4340 West 21st Place, Lake Forest, was charged Jan. 9 at 12:21 a.m. at Route 41 and Gage Lane with driving under the influence of alcohol after an officer stopped her for speeding, 75 mph in a 55 mph zone. Open alcohol was found in her car. Wright admitted to drinking and failed field sobriety testing. In addition to DUI, Wright was cited for speeding, operating an uninsured vehicle and illegal transportation of alcohol. She was released on $3,000 bond pending a Feb. 26 court date.
Jesus B. Pena‐Graves, 23, of 4237 Coral Berry Path, Lake Forest, was charged Jan. 3 at 4:20 a.m. at Westleight Road with driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding after an officer responded to multiple cell phone complaints of a possibly impaired driver. Pena‐Graves for speeding, 75 mph in a 55 mph zone. He admitted to drinking and failed field sobriety testing. He was taken into custody and later produced a breath sample indicating a blood alcohol content of .119. He was released on $3,000 bond pending a Feb. 26 court date.
Unlawful Possession of Cannabis
Diana G. Garcia, 23, of 235 North Avenue, Highwood, was charged Jan. 10 at 1:59 p.m. at Route 41 at Old Elm Road with unlawful possession of cannabis after being stopped for speeding, 60 mph in a 45 mph zone. Passenger Roberto S. Alvarez, 24, of 1229 Central Avenue, Highland Park, was charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Each was released pending a Feb. 10 administrative hearing at city hall.
A 15-year-old female juvenile from Lake Forest was charged Jan. 4 at 1:24 p.m. at Lake Forest High School with unlawful possession of cannabis and possession of tobacco. An administrative hearing at city hall is scheduled for Feb. 10.
