Lane Closure On Old Elm Road At Railroad Crossing
Expect long delays Wednesday at Old Elm Road and Route 41 in Lake Forest.

LAKE FOREST, IL — The westbound lane of Old Elm Road will be closed Wednesday throughout the day for work on the railroad crossing near Route 41 in Lake Forest. From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., there will be one lane open, with flaggers on site to direct traffic alternating in both directions, according to city officials. Long delays in the area are expected, and motorists are advised to use alternate routes.
