Native Plant Sale Oct. 17 in Lake Forest
Trees will be sold at discounted prices and a portion of the proceeds will go to plant trees and re-green the community's open spaces.
The Lake Forest Open Lands Association and the City of Lake Forest are one again partnering to offer a Native Tree Sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, at Mellody Farm Nature Preserve, 350 N. Waukegan Road, Lake Forest.
Coordinators said 10 to 12 native tree varieties will be offered. All trees will be sold at discounted prices and a portion of the proceeds will go to plant trees and re-green the community’s open spaces.
