Obituary: Georgianne Burnet was an Artist, Teacher

Georgianne Burnett, 64, entered into eternal peace on June 4 at her home in Lake Bluff surrounded by her family. She was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA and attended Edinboro University. She was a resident of both Lake Bluff and Lake Forest for over 37 years.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Lockhart Burnett and her daughter Shannon Burnett, as well as her sister Christine Rollins. She is also survived by a multitude of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Georgianne was an artist, school teacher, model, decorator, receptionist and finally a volunteer.

Visitation from  4-7 p.m., Friday, June 7 at Wenban Funeral Home, 320 Vine Ave., Lake Forest.
