Lake Forest High School Gets a New Principal

The Lake Forest High School District School Board welcomed its new principal at its meeting on Tuesday night.

Lake Forest High School Superintendent Michael Simek has recommended Barry Rodgers as the new principal to replace Jay Hoffmann, who retired for personal reasons.

"It's a wonderful thing to welcome Mr. Rodgers," District 115 Superintendent Michael Simeck said. 

In a news release, Simeck calls Rodgers "an industry leader" and said that he helped improve student achievement at Northside College Prep School in Chicago, according to the Chicago Tribune.
