Solicitation Complaint Leads to Drug Arrest
The man was also charged with driving with a suspended license.

Police responded to a complaint of a person soliciting roofing work without a permit in the 700 block of Valley Road at 1:30 p.m. July 15. An officer stopped Thomas Kazmierczak, 21, of the 1000 block of South Center in Bensenville, who was taken into custody when he was found to be driving on a suspended license. He was also found with cannabis and a smoking pipe, police said. He was charged with driving with a suspended license, unlawful possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on $1,500 bond and given an Aug. 1 court date.

An officer stopped a vehicle driven by Johnathan J.Burton, 31, of the 500 block of West 81st Street in Chicago, at 1:30 a.m. July 22 at Route 41 and Gage Lane. He was taken into custody when he was found to be driving on a suspended license. He was also cited for failure to secure a child under 8 in a restraint. He was released on $1,500 bond and given a Sept. 16 court date.
