Tickets To Lake Forest July 4th Festival And Fireworks Go On Sale
Due to state restrictions, attendance will be limited to 4,000 people at Deerpath Community Park, according to organizers.
LAKE FOREST, IL — Tickets to the Lake Forest festival and fireworks went on sale Tuesday.
The 14th annual community event returns to Deerpath Community Park July 4 following the cancellation of last year's celebration due to restrictions associated with the coronavirus.
Space is set to be limited this year. Attendance at the 2021 festival will be capped at 4,000 people, due to state restrictions on crowds, according to organizers.

The scheduled music lineup includes cover bands Hello Weekend and Sixteen Candles. Gates open at 400 N. Hastings Road at 5 p.m., with fireworks and patriotic music scheduled to begin around 9:40 p.m.
The fireworks and festival also functions as a fundraiser for the Friends of the Lake Forest Parks and Recreation Foundation, the 501(c)(3) nonprofit established in 2000 that allows tax deductible contributions to improve and expand recreational programs and activities.

Ticket prices range from $20 for general admission tickets for residents of Lake Forest or Lake Bluff to family VIP passes for $300. Kids under 5 can attend for free.
If tickets are still available at 8 a.m. on June 28, general admission prices will increase by $5 each for residents and non-residents alike.
