Vince Vaughn Sells River North Townhouse

The Lake Forest native now only owns one property in the city of Chicago.

Actor and comedian Vince Vaughn’s ties to Chicago are tight, but he is now down to owning one property in the city after unloading his 4,000-square-foot townhouse in River North.

Vaughn sold the Superior Street residence - which he never used as a permanent residence but rather as a rental property - Tuesday for $1.4 million, $30,000 less than what he paid for it in 2005, according to Curbed Chicago.

That leaves only one piece of real estate in the city for the Lake Forest native and 1988 Lake Forest High School alum: a 12,000-square-foot triplex penthouse at the Art Deco Palmolive Building, a property he has been trying to sell for years.
