Woodlands Academy presents ‘Good News of Great Joy’
An evening of holiday-themed music is in store as Woodlands Academy presents its annual free Christmas Concert at the Lake Forest school.

You’re invited to enjoy an evening of holiday-themed music as the Woodlands Academy of the Sacred Heart Music Department presents its annual Christmas Concert on Thursday, Dec. 12, at 6:30 p.m. The concert, which is open to the public free of charge, will take place in the Chapel of the Sacred Heart at the all-girls college preparatory high school, 760 E. Westleigh Road, Lake Forest.
All choral performers will begin the program with an “O Come, All Ye Faithful” processional into the chapel, with accompaniment from the Moeller pipe organ. Selections then will be performed by Woodlands Academy’s award-winning choirs and orchestra. The evening will end with a candle-lit rendition of “Silent Night.” For more information, visit www.woodlandsacademy.org.
