The Chicago Department of Transportation (CDOT) has begun resurfacing Lake Shore Drive between Sheridan Road and Foster Avenue and between Belmont Avenue and North Avenue.
The resurfacing is expected to be completed by the first week of November.
Due to the project, drivers should expect some delays at most times of the day or night.

At least two travel lanes will be open at all times in both directions. There will be no lane obstructions during rush hour peaks in southbound direction between 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. or in the northbound direction between 3 to 7 p.m.
