If there's one thing the Chicago suburbs have over Lake View, it's the abundance of garage and yard sales. Let's change that.Community group <a href="http://www.lakeviewcitizens.org/hn.asp" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Hawthorne Neighbors</a> is hosting its second annual "<a href="https://lakeview.patch.com/groups/around-town/p/lake-view-neighbors-hold-mega-garage-sale-for-new-park-photos">Mega Garage Sale</a>" on Oct. 19 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The hope is to round up as many area homes as possible for one day full of thrifty finds.Homeowners in Hawthorn Neighbors' boundaries—Belmont to Addison, Clark to Racine—are banding together, setting up tables and getting ready to sell. <ul><li>Check out photos from last year: <a href="https://lakeview.patch.com/groups/around-town/p/lake-view-neighbors-hold-mega-garage-sale-for-new-park-photos">Lake View Neighbors Hold 'Mega Garage Sale' for New Park (PHOTOS)</a></li></ul>A map of participating houses will be available on Oct. 11 so shoppers can easily navigate between homes.
