Apple To Unveil New Product At High School On North Side
Setup is underway at Lane Tech High School in Roscoe Village for the Apple event Tuesday.

CHICAGO, IL — Apple is preparing to unveil its newest product on Chicago's North Side. The company has invited the media to the event on Tuesday at Lane Tech College Prep High School in Roscoe Village. Apple normally holds product announcements in Silicon Valley.
According to the company's event invitation, the gathering will focus on "creative new ideas for teachers and students."
The last time Apple held an education-related event was in New York City in 2012.
