Astronaut's View of Chicago and the Aurora Borealis
Check out this amazing image from space.
Astronaut Scott Kelly shot this photograph of the aurora borealis (the green haze) over Chicago and posted the image to his Instagram page on Saturday. Kelly’s one-year mission on the International Space Station began in March 2015. The New Jersey native frequently sends fascinating images back to Earth. Last month, he photographed Soldier Field during the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers game.
